A dramatic roofline and classic white exterior give this 12′ White Vinyl Octagon Gazebo Kit a distinctly traditional appearance. Delivered to Hackensack, New Jersey, in 2025, the project was customized with a double pagoda roof, Colonial railings, Victorian braces, Sand Castle composite decking, and a finished vinyl interior ceiling.
The 12-foot octagonal footprint provides a generous gathering space for outdoor dining, conversation furniture, or a combination of both. Eight open sides maintain views of the surrounding property while the substantial roof creates a shaded retreat for relaxing and entertaining outdoors.
Visually, the double pagoda roof is the centerpiece of the design. The additional roof tier creates more height and architectural dimension than a standard gazebo roof, while a cupola at the peak provides the traditional finishing touch associated with an octagon gazebo. Old English Pewter 25-year asphalt shingles add a soft gray tone that pairs naturally with the white structure below.
The clean white vinyl exterior offers a bright, polished appearance that works well with both traditional and contemporary landscapes. Vinyl also reduces the routine maintenance associated with exposed wood, making it an appealing choice for homeowners who want the classic appearance of a gazebo without regularly staining or refinishing the exterior.
Decorative details give the lower portion of the gazebo just as much character as the roof. Colonial railings surround the octagonal perimeter, while upgraded Victorian braces frame the openings beneath the roof. The combination creates a more ornamental appearance without closing off the structure or limiting airflow.
Underfoot, 2×6 floor joists support 1×6 composite decking in Sand Castle. The warm neutral flooring provides an attractive contrast against the white vinyl framework while creating a durable, low-maintenance surface for furniture and everyday use.
The interior roof treatment continues the low-maintenance theme. 2× rafters with tongue-and-groove roof deckingform the roof structure, while a vinyl interior ceiling provides a bright, finished appearance when looking upward from inside the gazebo. This creates a cleaner aesthetic than an exposed wood ceiling and coordinates directly with the white vinyl exterior.
Prepared as a prefabricated gazebo kit, the components were delivered to Hackensack for assembly at the customer’s property. This project was also completed for a repeat Atlantic Outdoors customer, who received a 5% repeat-customer discount on the structure.
