ALMOND VINYL GAZEBO KIT
Created for Bloomin’ Crazy Nursery in Leland, North Carolina, this custom 10′ Almond Vinyl Octagon Gazebo Kit brings together a softer neutral exterior, premium Rosewood flooring, and integrated electrical features. Delivered in 2025, the gazebo provides a polished outdoor structure that can serve as an inviting focal point within the nursery’s landscaped setting.
Instead of the bright appearance of a traditional white vinyl gazebo, this project uses an Almond vinyl finish. The warm neutral color gives the structure a more understated look that pairs naturally with plants, trees, mulch beds, stonework, and other landscaping typically found throughout a garden center or nursery.
The gazebo’s structure begins with a durable pressure-treated wood framework wrapped in vinyl. This construction method provides the strength of a traditional wood gazebo while giving the visible exterior the clean appearance and reduced maintenance requirements of vinyl. Straight-face boards, standard railings, and braces maintain a classic octagonal design without making the structure overly ornate.
A particularly striking contrast comes from the floor. 2×6 pressure-treated floor joists support premium 1×6 vinyl decking in Rosewood, introducing a rich wood-inspired tone beneath the Almond framework. The darker flooring helps visually ground the structure while offering the easy-care advantages of vinyl decking.
Looking upward from inside the gazebo, 2× rafters and 1×6 tongue-and-groove roof decking create a finished ceiling rather than leaving the underside of the roof exposed. Above, 25-year asphalt shingles provide the primary roofing surface, while a standard cupola finishes the peak and gives the gazebo its familiar traditional silhouette.
This project was also prepared with electrical wiring and receptacles, expanding how the gazebo can be used after installation. The electrical package makes it easier to incorporate lighting or other powered accessories, while additional receptacles provide convenient access to power throughout the structure.
Because the gazebo was destined for a nursery rather than a typical residential backyard, its combination of neutral Almond vinyl and Rosewood flooring is especially fitting. The structure can blend into a landscaped environment while still standing out enough to create a destination for customers, a display area, or a comfortable covered space within the property.
Atlantic Outdoors prepared the gazebo as a prefabricated kit and supplied the necessary installation hardware for assembly at the Leland location. From its premium flooring and warm Almond exterior to its finished tongue-and-groove ceiling and electrical upgrades, this project shows how a traditional vinyl gazebo can be customized for both residential and commercial outdoor settings.
