This custom 10×16 White Vinyl Roof Over Pavilion was professionally installed by Atlantic Outdoors in 2023, transforming an existing porch into a comfortable, fully protected outdoor living space. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the home’s architecture, this project combines low-maintenance materials with custom construction to create an addition that looks like it has always been part of the home.
Constructed from premium white vinyl, the roof over provides the classic appearance of painted wood without the ongoing maintenance of scraping, painting, or staining. The structure was custom-built with a closed gable design on both the front and side elevations, creating a clean, finished appearance while offering excellent protection from the elements.
To ensure the addition blended naturally with the home, the roof was built to match the existing roof pitch and finished with black architectural asphalt shingles that coordinate with the home’s existing roofing. This attention to detail creates a cohesive architectural look that enhances both curb appeal and long-term value.
The structure is supported by durable 6×6 vinyl-wrapped posts while preserving the home’s existing vinyl railing system, allowing the original character of the porch to remain intact. The existing deck was completely screened in, including the addition of a screen door, creating a comfortable outdoor room that keeps insects out while allowing fresh air and natural views to be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
Built directly over the existing porch with no additional floor required, this roof over pavilion transformed the space into a versatile outdoor retreat perfect for dining, relaxing, or entertaining.
