DIY Gazebo Kit Information
Our pressure-treated gazebo kits are designed for straightforward assembly. Each kit arrives precut and predrilled, with all major components and necessary hardware included. Every piece is clearly labeled to simplify the installation process.
All materials needed to assemble the gazebo are included with your kit. The only items not included are the staples or nails required for installing asphalt shingles. Detailed assembly instructions are included with every kit.
Natural Wood Characteristics
Atlantic Outdoors uses high-quality pressure-treated lumber in the construction of our gazebos. Because wood is a natural material, variations in color, grain patterns, texture, and appearance should be expected. Minor imperfections such as knots, small checks, sap pockets, and natural character marks are normal and are not considered defects.
Pressure-treated lumber is infused with preservatives to protect against insects and decay. Due to the treatment process, boards may arrive with varying moisture content and may experience minor shrinking, cracking, checking, twisting, or warping as they acclimate to their environment. These characteristics are normal and do not affect the structural integrity of the gazebo.
Site Preparation & Installation
Our rectangle gazebos feature an integrated floor system with attached posts. For optimal performance, prepare the installation site with approximately 6 inches of 1-inch crushed stone across the entire footprint of the gazebo.
If you plan to install your gazebo on an existing patio or concrete pad, we recommend selecting a model without flooring. Atlantic Outdoors will provide a post layout and installation sketch to ensure proper footing placement.
Shipping and installation timelines may vary based on seasonal demand and product availability.
Permits & Delivery
Atlantic Outdoors LLC is not responsible for obtaining permits unless specifically requested. Permit assistance is available for an additional fee. Permit requirements vary by municipality, and homeowners should verify local regulations prior to installation.
